In 2011, roboticist-turned-writer Daniel H. Wilson made a big splash with his best-selling novel Robopocalypse, a pulse-pounding tale of robot rebellion. In his follow-up, Robogenesis, Wilson imagines a future after the robot apocalypse, where the line between human and machine is increasingly blurred. Wilson talks with Ira about the real machines that inspired the novel.
