David Handy

Dr. David Handy is a currently a postdoctoral scholar at the Oregon state University. He currently works on developing techniques to grow potatoes using Lunar regolith, and has previously worked with a variety of plants in Lunar and Martian regolith simulants, and has collaborated with NASA to analyze microbes isolated from plants grown on the Internation Space Station. He aims to continue investigating how to sustainably grow plants in extreme environments both in space and on our home planet.
