Science Friday Live In Louisville

From raining diamonds in space to the chemistry behind the perfect glass of bourbon, SciFri pours one on the rocks.

On Saturday, November 18th, Science Friday heads to Louisville for a special live event: Science Friday On The Rocks. Join us, in partnership with Louisville Public Media, The Kentucky Science Center, and Churchill Downs, for a live show at the Brown Theatre at 8:00pm.

Covering everything from the outer reaches of space to the tiniest microbes in our bodies, Science Friday is the trusted source for news about science, technology, and other cool stuff. Each week host Ira Flatow mixes it up with people in the know and those who want to be. We like to say it’s brain fun, for curious people. Join Ira and the team for a special night of Kentucky science, from raining diamonds in space to the chemistry behind the perfect glass of bourbon.

The show will be recorded for a radio broadcast at a later date. Science Friday airs every Friday at 3 pm on 89.3 WFPL.

Live music will be provided by the local band Bridge 19.

You can join us by picking up tickets here. See you there!
