Dr. Damián Blasi is an ICREA Research Professor at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, where he studies the diversity and evolution of human languages and cultures. He is a Schmidt Sciences Polymath and National Geographic Explorer, and is affiliated with research groups at Harvard and Yale. His work brings together linguistics, cognitive science, anthropology, and data science to understand how human languages have changed and diversified across cultures and through history.
